On April 26, QPV participated in the II Workshop on Quality in PV organized by AS Solar and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. In our presentation we faced how to guarantee 25 years of photovoltaic production. Our proposal was divided into three phases:
- First, it is essential to apply advanced quality control procedures during the design and construction phases, which allow locating the risk and establishing a traceability chain, ensuring the quality of the components and minimizing the uncertainty in the productionestimation.
- Second, it is necessary to implement expert monitoring systems to assess the PV plants performance during the operation phase, which should include the detection and automatic diagnosis of failures, anticipating them to reduce their impact, and collaborating in the O&Moptimization.
- Finally, it is necessary to be able to face possible arisen defects by carrying out in-field tests and repair.
In each of these stages, QPV offers a competitive solution to maximize the PV plant durability. First, an advanced quality control procedure (AQAP) that allows minimizing the uncertainty in the production estimation, which translates directly into the improvement of the projectfinancing conditions. Second: PVET®, a pioneering data analytics service that incorporates big data and artificial intelligence techniques that allows performing predictive detection and diagnosis with low uncertainty. Finally, QPV sells innovative measuring equipment, which is integrated in PVET® and optimizes the maintenance work.
