ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an experienced SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) engineer to manage our client’s PV plant infrastructure. This role involves supervising and maintaining the security and operation of networks, managing and monitoring remote equipment, as well as designing and planning the necessary Operational Technology (OT) and SCADA infrastructure for efficient and safe operation.
This position focuses on the initial part of the service oriented to monitoring, grid management, data storage and project management. Production projects are to be maintained and improved based on internal developments and customer requests. For new projects, we start from a base and adapt it according to the needs of the specific project, with the aim of expanding the features of the base system and be able to cover more fields in the future.
The Scada Engineer requieres solid technical knowledge and the ability to work autonomously in the supervision and management of these systems. In addition, we are looking for a person interested in working in a small company, able to adapt to new challenges and contribute to the development of our project in the field of solar PV, IT systems and data analysis.
ABOUT YOU
• Qualifications: Degree in industrial engineering, telecommunications or related areas.
• Languages: English B2.
• Experience: 3 years in the described functions
YOUR SKILLS TO ENSURE SUCCESS IN THE POSITION
• Network and security management. The network infrastructure of the plants will be the responsibility of our team.
• Server and database management. The machines that collect the data must be operational and the data must be safe.
• Knowledge in monitoring systems (SCADA, Sensorization, Modbus Protocol).
• Autonomy and initiative. You will be involved in all stages of the projects, including visits to plants around the world.
• Teamwork. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, where part of the responsibilities will fall on the position.

• Flexible working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.5 hours a day and Friday 6 hours. Possibility to start from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

• Intensive workday during the month of August.
• Possibility of receiving part of the salary according to the flexible compensation program (restaurant ticket, transportation and day care), which is not subject to income tax withholding.
• Teleworking: possibility of 1 day a week in remote work after the trial period and one full week a year from the employee’s preferred location if the position allows it.
